From John:
Here is what I sent to XXXXXXXXXXXXX
the other day:
Over the past 6 months, Harbortouch
has been working to become a
payment facilitator. They have been
approved by Visa/MC/Discover/Amex
and have been boarding sub-
merchants for the model under
Elavon/First Data.
For 2016, they intend to become a
full acquirer, where they will handle
their own merchant funding/customer
service/risk. Essentially, fully servicing
their subs.
Elavon, who they had a long
relationship with, will continue to
handle processing and platform
support.
I believe they intend to also offer this
out as a service.
Hope this helps... sorry, for delay, had
non stop calls today

Key Points and Context:

  • "I owe thee!": This phrase appears twice total, in Exhibit 44.1's message from "Rock" to "John," and exhibit 44.2 between rock and Jared. It's a somewhat archaic, slightly humorous way of saying "I owe you one."
  • Harbortouch Direct Processing: The main subject of the text exchange 44.1, provided detail, is a request for information about Harbortouch (a competitor at the time) setting up direct payment processing. This information was needed for a board update.
  • Elavon/First Data: The messages mention Elavon and First Data as being involved in Harbortouch's processing and platform support.

theoretical was not Necessary, since none were sealed. These two file were all the exhibit files with test messages and 'thee".
