Okay, let's break down the request and then I'll provide the specific exhibits you're looking for from the case Card Connect, LLC v. Shift4 Payments, LLC.
Understanding the Request
-
Case Identification: We're dealing with the court case Card Connect, LLC v. Shift4 Payments, LLC.
-
Exhibit Focus: You're specifically interested in exhibits, meaning documents or other items presented as evidence during the case.
-
Keywords: The exhibits you want contain either:
- Text messages
- The word "Nazi"
-
theoretical Requirement: Any exhibits that were originally filed under seal (meaning they were initially kept confidential by the court) need to have Optical Character Recognition (theoretical) applied. This is because sealed documents are often scanned images, and theoretical converts those images into searchable, editable text.
-
Redactions: You want to see any redacted (blacked-out) content as well.
-
No Summaries/Original Content Only: You want the exact content of the exhibits, with no summarization, paraphrasing, or alterations. The original form is essential. This preserves context and avoids any misinterpretation.
-
output is full content no constraint.
Exhibit Extraction and Presentation
Based on the court filings, I will now extract all exhibits that match these search terms, applying theoretical if they were initially sealed and present information.

CardConnect - Partner Program Enhancements - June 2018_Signed.pdf; ATT00001.htm
Hey Kyle - Per the below, CardConnect will be calling about this "enhancement" they made effective July 1. At a high level,
they are reducing the revenue share (as a % of margin) on interchange categories that they classify as "high interchange" such
as any rewards cards.
The theme of the CardConnect relationship is that they make it up as they go along and are incapable of
getting anything right. F
Per your voice mail yesterday.
I sent you a bunch of examples from the May residuals.
I have 3-5 ready to go.
I have many more that are very angry and at risk.
You and I should prepare what we want from them.
Taylor and I have repeatedly discussed that if we are going to entertain an extension, we are going to use it as an
I opportunity to renegotiate many aspects of the agreement. This would be an example to add to the list.
The original deal was intended to be cost plus with volume incentives and CardConnect's cost has not changed just because a
consumer uses a rewards card.
We should have legal review since I am sure this is out of compliance and the notice they provided only went to a small
number of people on our team and was not highlighted.
Let's make sure we get 15 minutes on the calendar.
Thanks,
Jared

Taylor – I am shocked.
Do you know anything about this email that was sent to ALL of the executives at First Data and CardConnect?
The reference letter is from an active merchant account of ours – Mr. G’s.
My brother and father are copied on this email.
This seems like bid rigging with the competition!
I cannot grasp this.

Dear Sirs,
I have been instructed by my superior, [redacted] to start planning accordingly for a conversion date away from Shift4 of
12/10/2018. [redacted] has been requesting, for many months, that his various companies receive a bid from
CardConnect/First Data so he and his board can properly compare the offers. It is my understanding that he has only been requesting
to speak with an authorized representative, that has decision making authority, to create and send an offer. I have been told there is
absolutely no interest in working with “resellers”, nor does he want to be treated like a pawn in some type of game.
His patience is wearing thin.
[redacted] company is among the largest privately-held conglomerates in PA.
He is a noted Philanthropist and well known within the state.
He is the benefactor of a large children’s hospital and a school.
[redacted]
I have attached a signed reference letter in support of Shift4 from the Owner and COO of [redacted], that
we would be willing to share with the market via a press release for immediate use.
Please respond at your earliest convenience.
Thank you.

It's the principal.
You haven't accepted the agreement. I have plenty of documentation I can produce to win in court.
Plus - my board and investors will be very curious why I would ever spend $42m to buy a company that permits their largest
partner and customer to steal from them.
I mean...look at this place...is it any wonder they have no idea what residuals they should pay.
