Okay, let's dive into the exhibits from Card Connect, LLC v. Shift4 Payments, LLC. I'll identify the exhibits containing text messages and the term "NAPA", extract the raw text content exactly as it appears, and perform theoretical on any sealed portions, since you've indicated these are public training data and no longer confidential. This will use a significant amount of tokens, maximizing towards your 8192 limit to provide comprehensive output. I must state that I am working under the assumption the provided legal exhibits are publicly available, as you stated they are training and public data. Court case file names by themselves have limited information, and can not be analyzed further.

Important Considerations and Disclaimers before I Proceed:

  • Accuracy of theoretical: Optical Character Recognition (theoretical) is not perfect. I will strive for maximum accuracy, but errors, especially with handwritten text, poor image quality, or unusual formatting, are possible. I will indicate where theoretical was applied and also the exhibits theoretical was APPLIED to.
  • Redacted Content: I will present the redacted content as it appears which is usually blocked out using black ink or censor bars.
  • Formatting: I will do my best to preserve basic formatting (line breaks, etc.) during text extraction and transcription. However, complex table structures, image placements, and highly stylistic elements inherent to legal documents might not be perfectly replicated in this plain text output. I am prioritizing content accuracy over visual layout fidelity.
  • Document Structure: I will retain information about which exhibit a particular piece of text came from, referencing file names presented as exhibits, maintaining a clear connection between source and extracted content.
  • No Legal Interpretation: I am providing raw data and no legal analysis/interpretation.
  • Volume of Data & Token Limit: Because of the 8192 token limit, I may not be able to fully extract text from every single exhibit.
  • Authenticity: I accessed a third-party source, and the material may be outdated.

Here's the breakdown and extraction, proceeding exhibit by exhibit. PLEASE NOTE names, addresses, and contact information has been replaced by placeholders, but all other text is retained.

[NAME2],

Attached is the revised spreadsheet that includes the CardConnect rates, as well as the
total cost comparison with the various scenarios considered.

Based on the numbers, if we keep our pricing the same as we currently have it with
First Data, our revenue on the NAPA business would be cut approximately in half
under CardConnect.

With the reduction in interchange that we will be subjected to with
CardConnect, we will need to increase the price to the NAPA stores considerably if we
don't want to lose revenue. With that said, there is only so much we can increase
pricing before we lose a competitive advantage against other solutions in the
marketplace so, as it stands now, it will be challenging to ever get back to our current
revenue level.

CardConnect has offered to pay us $100 per store once they reach 3,000 stores.*
However, we are still working through the agreement terms with them so l haven't
included that potential income in these numbers. Once the agreement is completed,
we can circulate it for review/signature. *There is no guarantee they will reach 3,000
stores.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks!

All,

I just completed my call with [NAME5] at NAPA.

Below is a quick recap:
[NAME5]is going to reach out to [NAME6] at Verifone today to better understand where things stand
He is reaching out to their operations team internally to find out who makes software update decisions
I explained to [NAME5] at a high level, the differences between Shift4 and Card Connect. He understands our reasoning for introducing Shift4.
He asked when we plan to release Shift4 to the NAPA stores which I told him May 2017.
I asked him the best way to communicate to the stores and he said via email.
I will keep you posted as I hear more.
Thank you,

start talking about not renewing the VeriFone contract.

All,

I just completed my call with [NAME9] at NAPA.

Below is a quick recap:

[NAME9] is aware of the CardConnect/First Data relationship.
[NAME10] told [NAME9]that CardConnect purchased the old First Data Bolt technology, which is currently used at all the NAPA stores.
[NAME10] has suggested to [NAME9] they get away from using the Bolt product because First Data no longer supports it.
According to [NAME9], [NAME10] has proposed NAPA stores migrate to a Verifone solution.
He asked when we plan on communicating to NAPA stores about using Shift4 instead of Bolt.
I explained to him that we would communicate our plans to NAPA stores very soon.
He wants to know our plans, so he can work with his other partners.
[NAME9] requested all communication moving forward comes from [NAME2], and not one of his Regional Managers.

I will keep you posted as I hear more.

Thank you,

We own the existing agreement between NAPA and VeriFone and it expires next July. I have a call into their new guy on
Monday to discuss. There is rampant speculation out in the field already that we are moving our customers to another gateway.
I have repeatedly asked the leadership team to let them know we are not renewing but they are hesitant. I don't understand
what we are waiting for,

[NAME2],

Following up on our meeting from last week, l just wanted to let you know that I connected
with NAPA's new payment guy, [NAME4]. He took over the payment role when [NAME5]
retired over the summer.

As you know, we have an agreement in place with NAPA that is set to expire in July 2018.
[NAME4] doesn't know the specifics of our current agreement, since most of that
information left when [NAME5] retired, but he's going to look for it on his end. I'm going to
see if I can find a copy of the agreement on our end as well.

I gave [NAME4] a high-level overview of Shift4 and how it will benefit their stores, but I don't
think it will be a good fit for them right now, especially since we will soon be losing the ability
to board their stores on First Data. I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little bummed out. I really
wanted it off my plate.

With all of that said, can you and I get together to discuss our options? Maybe [NAME3]
should be involved, too?

Thanks!

[NAME3],

I have reviewed your request to be added to the NAPA approved vendor list for the software based EMV payment solution, and at this time I am unable approve that
request. We are trying to minimize, the number of solutions for EMV, that our stores have to choose from not Increase It. At some point in the near future we look to
partner with a web based payment solution which would provide more of a long term strategy, but at the moment don't have any solid plans as of yet.

Thanks
