Jared Isaacman: Rob, just so there are zero surprises. Shift4 and FD have been meeting daily since last Thursday to monitor progress on the Verifone integration.
We have provided consistent updates that resolution was expected shortly and Card Connect was working daily with Verifone to get a written communication for FD.
There is another meeting this afternoon and this is the last update that FD will want to hear. They are also now experiencing complaints from their sales force.
So this has become an "or else" situation. If we don't have an acceptable letter today, then there will be no choice for Shift4 support but to recommend that FD pull its merchants from the certification and use an alternative like Datacap as that is also the request of the sales organization.
We don't want to get into the politics between FD and Verifone.
Not saying this is the outcome we want, but it is the reality of where we are.
