Just spoke to Brad Bernstein at FTV. I told him that before we scheduled a call with Card Connect, we needed to speak with FTV first We are holding our call tomorrow (Thursday) at 10am ET.
Brad tried to put a guilt trip on me. Saying how much they value their relationship with us... that they would never do anything to harm our LT relationship, etc.
I told them that that even though we didn't put it in writing, we had an oral understanding that they would not pursue this deal. He said he appreciated that, but that Jeff Shanahan was selling the company and they bad a fiduciary responsibility to represent Jeff
So, we'll see what they have to say tomorrow.
